With the further upgrade of pay.cool, it has become increasingly refined, but many people still do not know how to use it. Previously, we wrote an article to teach everyone how to use pay.cool. Please take a look at the previous tutorial first. Although pay.cool has been updated a lot, the basic usage is still quite similar.
1. About the differences between v2 and v3 versions#
The v2 version is the old version, and the apps we previously used on mobile, such as Yibi app and Biswap, all run on the v2 version.
The v3 is the new version. Currently, there is only one app for mobile, which is pay.cool+, and in the future, there will likely only be one. We recommend everyone to search and download it from the Google or Apple store. Android users can download it from the official website.
In the future, the v3 version will be mainstream, and all ecosystems will be launched on pay.cool. I suggest everyone prioritize using pay.cool+ on mobile. The v2 version and its software will no longer be updated, and downloads have already been restricted.
Additionally, the v2 version has also restricted transferring coins to exchanges, which you should already know.
In the future, ecosystems and transactions will almost all be on pay.cool's Yibi (Dex), Biswap, RIS, PancakeSwap, etc., all within the pay.cool browser page.
2. About assets in v2 and v3 versions#
(1) First, the assets in the exchanges of v2 and v3 versions are not interchangeable. Therefore, you need to first withdraw your assets from the v2 exchange to your wallet, and then transfer them to the Kanban chain (which is the exchange) in pay.cool to participate in various ecosystems of v3.
(2) The Kanban chain is the second-layer chain of FAB. You can select the Kanban chain in pay.cool to view your (exchange) assets.
(3) The v3 version of pay.cool is also very convenient to use; it is actually quite similar to TP wallet, but safer than TP.
(4) Besides participating in various ecosystems and transactions of the FAB system, you need to transfer assets from your wallet to the Kanban chain (which is the exchange). Other assets can remain in your wallet directly. For example, if you want to trade on PancakeSwap, you can do so directly, which is quite convenient. Of course, you can also enter the URL in the browser page to link your wallet for trading, just like you do with TP.
3. About the ecosystem on the pay.cool browser page#
Currently, the ecosystems listed by the project team are all participatory, including sending red envelopes, chatting, digital IDs, trading, etc. More will come in the future, such as games, shopping, malls, etc. Therefore, we recommend everyone to switch to the v3 version of pay.cool, and the v2 version will basically not be updated in the future, with related ecosystems gradually transitioning to pay.cool.
4. About Yibi#
You can also trade on Yibi in pay.cool. The Dex (short for decentralized exchange) on the browser page is Yibi, where you can directly place orders for trading. It will continue to be updated and will only become more user-friendly.
5. Pay.cool also supports multiple wallets#
Click on me (me), then wallet management, and then click import/create wallet to import or create multiple wallets.
After importing or creating multiple wallets, you can click on the wallet name at the very top of the wallet homepage to switch between them, which is very convenient.
6. Ecosystem of the FAB system#
(1) It is important to remind everyone that all ecosystems of the FAB system will display a connect wallet option once opened, meaning you can generally use them after clicking.
(2) However, there may be delays depending on the network. If you find that it cannot be used, click the upper right corner of the opened ecosystem page to automatically connect to the wallet. For example, if you open Biswap and find that your wallet address is not displayed on the trading page, click the two little people in the upper right corner to automatically connect to the wallet.
(3) All ecosystems of the FAB system connect to the Kanban chain (exchange), which is the second-layer chain of FAB. Therefore, assets must be transferred from the wallet to the Kanban chain to participate in the FAB ecosystem.
7. About withdrawing coins#
With the updates to pay.cool, we found that when withdrawing coins from the Kanban chain (exchange), you need to have a small amount of the corresponding main chain coins as Gas fees on the Kanban chain. Here’s a clarification:
(1) When transferring coins from the wallet to the Kanban chain (exchange), the wallet needs the corresponding main chain coins as Gas fees. For example, transferring USDT (BNB chain) to the Kanban chain or other wallets requires having BNB in the wallet as Gas fees.
(2) When withdrawing coins from the Kanban chain (exchange) to the wallet, you also need the corresponding main chain coins as Gas fees. For instance, transferring USDT (BNB chain) from the Kanban chain back to the wallet requires having BNB on the Kanban chain as Gas fees.
This is actually because, during the past few years of v2, many people reported that withdrawing coins from the exchange often got stuck on the chain. This is mainly due to price fluctuations, causing the Gas fees for withdrawing coins on different chains to change at any time, leading to getting stuck on the chain. To solve this issue and to better achieve decentralization and make it easier for users to withdraw coins, a revision was made in v3.
Therefore, when withdrawing coins to your wallet, such as U, if you choose different chains, you need to also transfer the corresponding main chain coins (BNB, TRX, ETH, etc.) into the Kanban chain as Gas fees. Naturally, transferring between wallets also requires different main chain coins as Gas fees. Understanding this point is sufficient.
8. About the v2 ecosystem#
The v2 version is still operational and may continue to run for some time in the future to facilitate everyone in withdrawing assets to transfer to v3. However, as mentioned above, v2 will basically not be updated in the future, and transactions will gradually transition to v3.
The liquidity of SEED/USDT, FET/DUSD, etc., in Biswap of the v2 version can be withdrawn from liquidity. We previously wrote a detailed tutorial on this operation, which you can refer to.
Regarding the rewards for liquidity in Biswap of the v2 version, namely FET and GET, you can click to redeem them in my rewards, and you will see the redemption shortly, which can then be transferred to your wallet. You can refer to the liquidity operation tutorial as well.
Detailed operation tutorial for Biswap, practical version, recommended for collection.
By the way, the web version of the v2 is: v2.biswap.com, just add v2 in front.
The v3 version is the normal webpage, which is also available below for you to check.
One more thing, we have always emphasized that as long as you use the same mnemonic phrase, regardless of whether it is the v2 or v3 version, the assets in your wallet are the same. The assets in the wallet are identical, which is the foundation of blockchain. You will understand this by operating it yourself.
FAB Public Chain Large Ecosystem#
The FAB public chain has multiple ecosystems that have officially started running, including various chain games, malls, etc. In addition to the various ecosystems built on FAB that we previously introduced, more ecosystems developed based on the FAB public chain will be launched in the future. Our community will continue to share and explain, helping everyone build their own business landscape in the era of blockchain web 3.0.
